Binsar is a beautiful, small town located at an altitude of 2,480 mts above sea level. It is about 114 kms. from Pauri. There is a temple in Binsar which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is of great archaeological importance. The central room of the temple is beautifully decorated by the idols of Ganesh, Gauri and Mardini. Binsar is surrounded by beautiful and dense forest of Oak, Deodar and Rhodendron.

Doodhatoli is situated at an altitude of 3,100 metres above sea level and is located at a distance of about 124 kms. Thalisain is the last bus terminus which is 100 kms from Pauri and from where Doodhatoli is at a distance of 24 mks by trek. Doonhatoli is surrounded by some dense forests and is considered to be one of the most beautiful places in the Pauri-Garhwal district. One can witness a panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges and the surrounding area from Doonhatoli.

The road from Satpuli to Ekeshwar offers views of the snow-covered Chaukhmba peaks.

Janda Devi Temple is located near Ekeshwar Temple. Janda Devi Temple is dedicated to goddess Kali and Durga and it is the most stunning and religious place located nearby to the village Syoli belong to Pauri Garhwal district. Janda Devi is known to be the sister of Goddess Nanda Devi.

On 2nd of June every year, a large fair is organized at the temple and people attends this fair in large numbers came from nearby villages. One can reach here by hiring taxi or a bus from Satpuli which is 34 kms, Pauri which is 50 mts and Kotdwar which is 90 mts from here.

Jwalpa Devi Temple is situated 34 kms from Pauri and lies on the main Pauri Kotdwar road. Jwalpa Devi temple is completely dedicated to Goddess Jwalpa and has very special religious significance. As per the ancient stories, once upon a time the place was visited by Adi Guru Shankaracharya for devotion and it’s also assumed that the Goddess appeared to him. A special festival is held here on the day of Navratras which is attended by a large number of devotees.
