I am Manish Yadav, hailing from the green valley of Uttarakhand. I am of an outgoing personality. Hardworking & motivated with positive attitude, I live life to the fullest. Everyday is a new life for me. I believe in utilizing every golden opportunity that comes my way !Being smart, handsome & charming, I feel every sunset gives us one day less to live, but every sunrise gives us one day more to hope. So I consistently do my best at every phase of life. My belief is that, 'An eagle soars higher & higher only when the wind is against it'.
I started my modeling career at a very young age. I took my first step on the ramp in the year 2000 for Lions Club Kanpur which was choreographed by Mr. Gagan P Singh, Even though my journey has been with ups and downs I have never looked back .I have performed many shows in Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Lucknow, Jaipur, Delhi and now its Mumbai for me.
I have won the title of FIRST Mr. Uttaranchal 02 - 03 and Mr. North India 02 - 03.
Being a Model and the Managing director of MRMI (Modern Recreation Media Institute), I have performed a number of ramp shows. Organized and choreographed (along with Aakanksha the well known Choreographer, Model and Dancer). Many ramp shows which include Mr & Ms. Uttaranchal 03 - 04 and 04 - 05. Shows for NIHM, Paridhaan Utsaav, DSOI (army), Fighting Fourteen, etc. Even done many dance shows with Rhythm Fine Arts.
Besides winning titles, my experience of work has brought me from a small town boy to a Dream city, Mumbai, is in itself a very great achievement. I have gained knowledge, recognition and I am just a step away from my dream.
Matter of pride
Being a small town boy where people do not even dream of such achievements, it is a matter of pride for my family and friends. After winning the title of Mr. North India my interview was published in all the local newspapers and also broadcasted in Doordarshan which was not only an achievement for me and my family, but a matter of pride and fame for my state.
Modeling opportunity in Uttarakhand
'Nobody is perfect', as the saying goes, lots of things are missing in terms of modeling in Uttarakhand. Lack of professionalism, sincerity confidence and the urge to learn are the main hindrances. I also feel there are no institutes and agencies to promote models. There are no fashion photographers, designers, choreographers or rather I should be saying there is no team work. Being a model myself I wanted to help my co models and with this intention I started an institute MRMI (Modern Recreation Media Institute). We promoted our models to North India level. At present I am working to establish my career and in the future I would very much like to re-establish my institute to promote my State in this field.
Diet habits, workout
When I talk about workout, firstly I would like to mention my first gym coach Mr. Pushpendra Dabral (owner of Bulls & Pumping Iron gym, Dehradun) who has taught me many fitness regimes required to maintain a good physique. Being very particular about my exercise I go to the gym everyday. I do cardio along with abs and weight training exercises alternately.

Words for aspiring models
My advise to all boys and girls who want to become models is that please do not consider this field to be only glamorous .This field requires belief in oneself and the willingness to accept challenges. Be confident and consider things from every angle to make it happen. Keep trying no matter how hard it seems because Practice makes Perfect. Don't give up, zero in on your target and go for it.
